Overview

The Orders list is your central hub for viewing and managing all orders in your system. You can quickly find specific orders using search, filter by status and details, and export data for reporting. The list displays key information including order numbers, customer names, statuses, tags, and revenue at a glance.

Understanding the Orders List View

What You See in the List

The orders list displays the following information for each order:

  • Order Number: Unique identifier (e.g., #1218, #1217)

  • Customer Name: The customer associated with the order

  • Status: Current order status with color coding

  • Tags: Any tags applied to the order (shown with count icon)

  • Revenue: Order revenue amount

  • Actions: Three-dot menu for order-specific actions

  • Quick View: Arrow icon to open order details

Order Count

At the top of the list, you'll see the total number of orders displayed (e.g., "1095 orders"). This count updates based on your active filters.

  2. Type your search term

  3. Results update automatically as you type

πŸ’‘ Tip: You don't need to include the "#" symbol when searching for order numbers - just type the number.

Advanced Search

Accessing Advanced Search

For more complex search needs:

  1. Click the "More" button at the top right

  2. Select "Advanced search" from the dropdown menu

  3. Access additional search parameters and options

When to Use Advanced Search:

  • You need to search multiple fields simultaneously

  • You need to save search criteria for repeated use

  • Basic filters don't provide enough specificity

  • You're building complex reports

Important Notes

⚠️ Important Considerations:

  • Filter combinations: All filters work together (AND logic). Selecting multiple filters narrows results further.

  • Time zone: All date filters use Central Standard Time (CST). Convert times if you're in a different zone.

  • Real-time updates: The orders list updates in real-time as orders change status.

  • Export limits: Large exports may take time to process. Consider filtering to smaller date ranges for faster exports.

Troubleshooting

Issue: No Orders Showing After Filtering

Issue: The orders list is empty after applying filters

Cause: Your filter combination may be too restrictive, or no orders match the criteria Solution:

  1. Click "Reset" in the Filters panel to clear all filters

  2. Apply filters one at a time to identify which is causing the empty result

  3. Adjust your filter criteria to be less restrictive

  4. Check the date range - you may be looking at dates with no orders
