After getting the Samsara API token it has to be saved into the TMS. More information on how to get the API token can be found here.
Accessing the integration screen
To set up the integration, press on the User icon at the top-right of the screen, and select System settings:
The settings screen will be presented - press on Integrations:
Then, select Samsara:
Adding the Samsara integration
Press Enter API Key:
Enter the Samsara API key and press Configure:
The token will be configured and shown as active:
There are three status types when it comes to the API key:
Active API key - when the API key is added and is active;
Inactive API key - refers to the API key which was never added;
Expired API key - refers to the API key which failed to be renewed;
If the token has to be updated press on Update and add a new token;
The token can be deleted if needed. In order to remove it, press on a red X button;
There are no additional costs associated with generating or using the Samsara API token within 10 Speed TMS. API tokens are included in the pricing.
