Terminal asset in 10 Speed TMS is a place where trucks and trailers are stored, organized and managed. Also, there's the back office, where driver managers, fleet managers, etc. are working from. Terminals can be used as a storage to store cargo as well.
When creating a new terminal asset, firstly, make sure that terminals create permission is enabled. This guarantees that users have the necessary access rights to initiate the asset creation process within the system. If permissions are not granted, ask your company admin for assistance.
Accessing Terminals asset
To access the asset, firstly go to Assets and then select Terminals:
The number 11 near the Terminals indicates how many terminal assets there are at the moment;
Terminals window will be shown, where the active terminals will be visible;
On the top of the screen the search bar is located where terminals can be searched by their name:
Adding a new Terminal asset
To add a new terminal asset press on Add terminal and enter the terminal details:
Name of the terminal;
Contact person number;
Address information;
When the information is added press Save.
The newly created terminal asset will be shown in the terminal list;
Viewing the terminal asset
To view the terminal asset, press on the magnifying glass icon when selecting the specific terminal:
Detailed information about the asset will be presented:
To edit or delete the asset, press on the three-dot icon and select corresponding action:
