In the 10 Speed, individuals can record and manage any accidents or incidents involving company vehicles. This article provides insights into how to use the Accidents/Incidents feature.
Accessing accidents safety dashboard
To access the asset, firstly go to Safety and then select Accidents / Incidents:
Accidents / Incidents window will be shown:
The information can be shown as a table - click on the slider and the page will turn in a table:
Filtering out the accidents
On the top of the screen the filters can be selected:
Assignee;
Date from and date to, the accident happened;
Driver filter;
Truck filter;
Trailer filter;
States filter;
Accident status filter;
The search bar is located on the top of the screen - the accident can be found by accident ID, driver name, etc.;

Adding a new Accident/Incident
If an accident/incident occurs it has to be added to the TMS - to add it press on Add Accident/Incident on the top of the screen.
A new window will pop up where the information about the accident has to be added:

After the details are entered the accident/incident will be added to the list.
Accidents and incidents are a very important and must-managed events of the trucking company and it may require returning to the information, checking on all pieces. This is why at 10 Speed we let our users save accident and incident reports that are fully explained (all fields filled). However, there are moments when it is not possible due to the lack of information at the time. This is why an accident or an incident can be saved as a draft by clicking Save As Draft. It will save an unfinished accident or incident report but it will be only visible to the person that created it. After all information fields are filled, it can be saved and viewed by other company employees in the TMS.
Viewing the accident / incident
To view the accident / incident press on go to the dashboard and press on a specific accident / incident, the window of information about it will be presented;
The information about an accident or incident is updated as soon as it is put into the TMS;
On the bottom of the screen - the accident status can be seen and changed manually if needed:
Adding a new Claimant
To add and to view a claimant, press on Claimants on the right side of the screen, then select Add Claimant:
A new window will pop up, select the claimant type:
Enter the general information about the claimant:
Order number;
Customer;
Customer claim number;
Phone number;
Address information:
Enter the details:
Acknowledged date;
Response date;
Select if the claim is outdated or not;
Enter the denial code;
Enter the amount denied;
Write comments if needed;
Select if there is an attorney and enter the attorney details:
When the information is added press Finish.
Adding a new claim to the claimant
To add a claim to the claimant, select a claimant and press on it:
To add a claim press Add Claim, here add all needed information:
Select the Cost Center (the number represented is indicated by your company - this means different expenses by cost centers);
Enter the Posting Period;
Enter the Claim Type;
Enter the outstanding balance;
Press Submit:
Adding an equipment
To add and to view an equipment, press on Equipment on the right side of the screen, then select Add Equipment:
A new window will pop up, fill out the information needed:

To add a claim to the equipment, select a equipment and press on it:
To add a claim press Add Claim, here add all needed information:
Select the Cost Center (the number represented is indicated by your company - this means different expenses by cost centers);

Adding documents
To add and to view a documents, press on Documents on the right side of the screen, then select Add Document:
A new window will pop up - attach the documents needed and write the title of the document, then press Upload:
Adding notes
To add and to view a notes, press on Notes on the right side of the screen, then select Add Note:
Adding tasks
To add and to view a tasks, press on Tasks on the right side of the screen, then select Add Task:
Fill out the information needed - select the manager from the dropdown list, enter the task and press the check-mark:
