The order must consist at least two stops: pickup and delivery.

  • Pickup stop is where the order is picked up from the customer;

  • Delivery stop is where the order is delivered to the customer;

  • Additional stop can be made in all other cases not specified.

Adding a Pickup, Delivery or Additional stop:

  • Select order Load type:

    • Live - this load type can be selected when the order is loaded or ofloaded depending on the stop type. It can be used for order pickup or delivery options.

    • Drop & Hook - this load type can be selected when the order is dropped at consignee or terminal and an empty trailer is hooked at the consignee/terminal. For consignee - use delivery stop type, for terminal - use additional stop type.

    • Drop - this load type can be selected when the order is dropped at consignee or terminal. For consignee - use delivery stop type, for terminal - use additional stop type.

    • Hook - this load type can be selected when the trailer is hooked on a truck. This option can be used for pickup or additional stop options.

  • Select destination from drop down list. There will be most recent destinations shown. If a specific destination is needed enter a few letters and it will be shown there. Tips on how to create a new destination can be found here.

Select Reference type - it can be searched, picked from the list, or a new one time reference type can be added. How to add a new permanent reference type can be found here.

  • Reference type can be selected from the drop down list;

  • A new one-time reference type can be added by entering new reference type in the following window:

  • Press on Enter new reference type, then enter the reference type and press Save;

  • Reference type should be at least 3 characters long;

  • Information about selected order reference type can be entered in the field to the right (see: A-2563-HT5):

  • If more than one Reference Type is needed press Add more;

  • If Reference Type is not needed press on X symbol - it will be deleted and will not be shown;

Appointments can be chosen in this window.

  • Enter appointment Start and End dates. Appointment can be also depicted as an interval, meaning the truck can be serviced at the shipper or consignee at this time/date range. In that case, click on the toggle button and enter both Start and End dates.

  • Enter appointment Start and End time. Appointment can be also depicted as an interval. In that case, click on the toggle button and enter both Start and End time.

  • Please note that Appointment times use local time zones. Review the inputs for accuracy, especially considering the destination time zone;

  • After the information is entered click Save.

  • If for example, the order is returned, or is sent back to the origin create new stops for the returning order.

There is no limit to the number of destinations or stops that can be added to an order. The system allows for flexibility in accommodating various logistics requirements without imposing any constraints on the number of stops.
