Extra fields customization

Adding extra fields to TMS

Customize the 10 Speed TMS by configuring additional fields. These extra fields provide the flexibility to include additional information for better order, customer, etc. management.

Accessing the settings screen

  • To customize the extra fields, press on the User icon at the top-right of the screen, and select System settings:

  • The settings screen will be presented, select Extra fields:

  • When the extra fields are selected, select the category of the extra field:

    • Companies;

    • Customers;

    • Destinations;

    • Drivers;

    • Orders;

    • Owners;

    • Trailers;

    • Trucks;

Customizing the fields

  • When the field category is selected the field can be customized;

  • Firstly press on Add Field:

  • The field information will appear, enter the needed details:

    • Enter the Field Name;

    • Select the field type:

      • Text;

      • Number;

      • Decimal;

      • Yes/No;

      • Options;

      • Date;

      • Link;

Text

  • When the text option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider;

  • Enter the maximum length (optionally);

  • Select the capitalization from the dropdown list:

    • None;

    • Uppercase;

    • Lowercase;

    • Company name;

    • Name;

    • Address;

  • Select autosuggest options:

    • None;

    • Company names;

    • Full names;

    • First names;

    • Last names;

    • Emails;

    • Colors;

  • When the information is selected, press on Save;

  • If the field is not needed, press on red minus icon on the left side of the field information:

Number

  • When the number field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider;

  • Optionally write the number format;

  • When the information is added, press on Save:

Decimal

  • When the decimal field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider;

  • Optionally enter the unit of measurement;

  • When the information is added, press on Save:

Yes/No

  • When the Yes/No field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider;

  • When the information is added, press on Save:

Options

  • When the Options field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider;

  • Enter all possible options. For example: green, red, blue;

  • When the information is added, press on Save:

Date

  • When the Date field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider:

  • When the information is added, press on Save:

Link

  • When the Link field option is selected, enter the field name;

  • Select if the field is required by pressing on the slider:

  • When the information is added, press on Save:
