Leg can be split only when the leg stop status is Unplanned, Pre-planned, Dispatched, Pending, in Transit or Active.
Accessing the leg
To access the leg firstly, go to orders page and select an order:
When the order is selected press on Route tab:
Press on the leg:
Splitting the leg
A leg can be split more than once. However, the leg must have at least three stops (excluding deadhead stop types). If it has fewer than three stops, splitting will not be allowed. Split legs cannot be merged back together. If needed, create a new leg to make the required changes.
New information will appear, to split the leg press on the Split button located in the bottom of the window:
A new window will pop up, to split the leg drag the blue tab to the place where the leg needs to be broken down:
After dragging the blue tab, press on Next:
During the leg splitting, the details can be changed:
New division can be added for both legs if it will be delivered differently;
To add a new division select it from the dropdown list;
Trailer can be reassigned:
To reassign trailer, press on the slider;
After that, press on Reassign trailer, and select trailer from the list (optional);
When the information is added press Next:
The next step is to split the revenue:
The revenue can be split equally, or custom split can be made;
Select whichever option suits the needs;
When the revenue is split, press on Apply split:
The leg will be split and shown in the menu:
Adding new assets after the leg is split
If there are asset changes required, such as assigning a new driver to deliver a split leg, these changes can be made by pressing the Assign Assets button. This allows for the reassignment of necessary resources to ensure that the leg is properly managed:
A new window will pop up, there select the driver and the truck pair;
After selecting it press on Save, the changes will be saved and presented:
