Assets can be added when planning a new order - after adding assets the order status changes.
Assets can be assigned in the Planning menu:
Select an order from the order list for which the assets need to be added:
Press on the order - new information will be visible on the right side of the screen:
Press on Assign assets - new window will pop up with Driver, Truck and Trailer information:
Go to Driver and Truck tab, if the driver is not shown press Show more, if a specific driver needs to be chosen type driver's code or name in the search bar on the top;
If the driver is not shown in the list of drivers, the driver is either not entered into the system, or the driver is terminated. The steps on how to create a driver can be found here.
Only one pair of driver and truck can be assigned at the time;
If the driver needs to be changed press Unassign:
When the driver is assigned press Continue;
The same steps can be followed to assign Trailers:
Choose a trailer and then press Assign, after that press Continue;
If the trailer is not shown in the list, the trailer is either in-use or it is pre-loaded, more information about trailer status can be found here.
The Driver and Truck pair as well as Trailer will be shown. In order for these changes to take place, these assets need to be Confirmed. It can be confirmed by pressing Confirm Asset Changes:
After the assets are confirmed the status will change to Preplanned;
We recommend selecting the driver and truck pair based on the following criteria:
Ensuring that the driver and truck are located in the same are;
Confirming that both the driver and the truck are available for assignment.
