Trailer map view

Accessing the trailer map view, explanation on the trailer cards and statuses

The trailer map view allows users to view and access trailers in a more convenient way. The trailer assets are shown on the map with additional information. How to view and manage the trailer assets can be found here.

Accessing the trailer map view

  • To access the asset, firstly go to Assets and then select Trailers:

  • The number 345 near the Trailers indicates how many active trailer assets there are at the moment;

  • Trailers window will be shown, where the current owners will be visible, select Map view:

  • The location of every trailer will be shown here. To see a more detailed information press on a specific trailer and the information card will be presented.

Trailer cards explanation

  • When pressed on the trailer icon, the trailer will be presented, with the following information:

    • Trailer number;

    • Trailer status;

    • Trailer length;

    • Current location, or location when the GPS was last updated;

    • Time of the last GPS update, or location name where the trailer was last seen;

    • Days when the trailer was last in use;

    • Order information when the trailer was last used;

    • If unloading has been started the information about the unloading will be presented.

Trailer status

  • The trailer statuses are indicated by colors:

    • burgundy signifies that it is neither in use, nor available;

    • blue shows that it is currently in use, but unavailable;

    • yellow indicates that it is in use, but it could potentially become available soon;

    • green signifies that it is available and currently not in use.

In the shop

  • This status means that the truck is currently in the repair shop and it is not available for order assignment.

Abandoned

  • This status means that the trailer was abandoned and it is not available for order assignment.

Terminated

  • This status means that the trailer has been discontinued and it is not available for order assignment.

Inactive

  • This status means that the trailer was added to TMS and is not ready to be operated with. The trailer cannot be assigned for the order.

In use

  • It indicates that the trailer is currently being used.

In use, GPS tracker unavailable

  • If the GPS location is lost or the tracker has not been installed in the trailer, but it has an active order - its status will be In use.

Unloading

  • The status means that the trailer is currently in the process of having its cargo or contents unloaded.

Preloaded

  • It signifies that the trailer is now preloaded.

Available

  • It signifies that the trailer is ready and accessible for use.

Available, but GPS tracker unavailable

  • The status indicates that the trailer is physically present and ready for use, but its real-time location cannot be determined due to a lack of GPS tracking information.

GPS location updates

  • The GPS location of trailers in the trailer map view is updated approximately every 10 minutes.
